When
you make a commitment to yourself in front of your Team, and are held accountable at subsequent meetings, you
are much more likely to follow through than when you are only accountable to yourself.
Structure for Action
When you commit to take action, with deadlines supported by accountability to the group, you are likely to
make significant progress towards your goals.
Brainstorming & Group Synergy
You
are only one person with one set of ideas and contacts and resources. You will often see only one way of approaching an obstacle
-- which is your "first right answer". Your Team will come up with lots of other right answers
-- the second and third and fourth right answers. They'll also have lots of ideas, contacts and resources for you, and
the synergy of the Team will create even more.
Many "Antennae": Expansion of Resources
Once your Team knows your dream(s), they'll be alert to new ideas, resources, contacts, and information
as they go about their days. They'll bring you information you might never had known about otherwise.
Courage & The Buddy System
You'll feel emboldened by your Team. Where you might not feel like you can do something, your
Team will provide a sounding board for your doubts and fears and support you in pushing past them -- in both
practical and concrete ways, and also on a more emotional level. At times, for example, this could mean that one or more Team
members could accompany you on a scary undertaking, wait for you outside, and then take you out to dinner afterwards!
Your Own Personal Cheering Squad
It's so important to be celebrated when you've had a win, and your Team
does this for you. Also, when you are feeling down, it helps to be around "up" people who can remind you that you
won't always feel that way. People all go through cycles and you aren't all down and overwhelmed at the same
time, so you can nourish each other in these natural cycles.
Your Own Traffic Cop
Your Team members
can stop you from getting off track. Once they know your dreams, they sometimes see more clearly than you
do when you are taking on new commitments that don't fit in. And they'll call you on it.

Momentum & Inspiration
When you see your Teammates moving forward towards what
they want and having successes, you'll catch their energy and enthusiasm and be further inspired to move
forward yourself.
Partnership & Collaboration
There may be natural partnership
opportunities within the Team.
Sharing of Expertise
You may take the opportunity to share
your own skills or talents with your Teammate(s) outside the regular meetings. You can do this in trade, barter
or for money -- or as a gift -- whatever feels appropriate in the given situation.
Trail Blazing
Rather than having to re-invent the wheel on certain projects and challenges, you can tap into
each others' experience and knowledge base.
Email Brainstorming
& Problem-Solving
You can stay in contact via email as a Team between
meetings by utilizing the "Reply All" feature, or via Yahoo Listserv. This has proven itself to be an invaluable
help when faced with a time-sensitive obstacle between regular meetings.
Referrals
Your Team
is often a source of personal and business referrals.
Shared Marketing
If all or some Team members have their own businesses, you may decide to do some shared/co-op
advertising/marketing, or take on a pro bono community service project as a group. This, or the Team itself,
might be the subject of a story for the local media that could provide PR and exposure for yourselves and your businesses.
Enchanted Life™ Teams 'Connections Bulletin'
This
is an email Bulletin which connects all the Teams together into one big, happy family of resourceful generous friends.
It's the place where you can post Offers, Requests, Celebrations and Events. Ask for a "work buddy" or
offer to be an "accountability partner". Let people know what you need, such as a particular contact

Enchanted Evenings: Informal Inter-Team Gatherings
Here is where all the various Teams periodically get together just to informally get to know one another.
We are such a rich resource for helping each other's dreams to come true and the more like-minded women
we can get to know, the better. It's all about building a network of resourceful, generous friends.
