Our private online group gathering space is one of the important central components of this course, so let's get you over there!
For new folks:
If this is your first time taking a class from me, you'll have a 2-step process for gaining access to our private online gathering space. STEP 1First thing to do is to join The Sweet Spot Cafe online community itself. It's a big private site, sort of like a mini-Facebook. This is where I 'warehouse' all the private sub-groups for each course I've taught over the last several years. It looks like this:
Go HERE to join.
Once I see your request-to-join in my Inbox, I'll go in and manually approve your membership request. ("I approve! I approve!") By the way, the reason I do this is to keep spammers out.
Then I'll send you a *Friend Request* which I would like you to accept. (Approval and friendship?! Aren't we off to a good start!?) You'll be tempted to think you're done--but--not so fast! Getting to your final destination is a Texas Two-Step!
Okay, so, once you've been approved and friended, go on to the next step... STEP 2Now that you're a member and a friend, simply watch for a further invite from me, via email, to join the private sub-group area within the larger community site. There will be a link in that email that you'll need to click.
That's it! You're done. For now...There's nothing to do now except simply being on the sub-group roster. Phew!
Once the class begins, this is where you'll be able to access all the course goodies, including our super-wonder-full private Discussion Forum. Sit tight and I'll soon be sending you the full course logistics. I'll also be inviting you to our first *discussion* -- which will basically be introducing yourself. Pretty easy so far, eh? In the meantime, add these dates to your calendar: There are the seven (7) consecutive Tuesday live conference calls which take place at 1:00pm to 2:00pm Pacific Time. Mark your calendars:
I'll email you a reminder each week, as well as the replay link, discussion prompts, homeplay suggestions and other goodies--all sent via old-fashioned, regular email.
